Karen Morton, Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Liberty Mutual Insurance and recipient of the 2021 Good Apple Award.
The Good Apple Award Reception is Massachusetts Appleseed’s biggest event of the year and a celebration of the “good apples” in our legal and business communities – leaders who personify Massachusetts Appleseed’s commitment to public service, fairness, and social justice.
On October 14, 2021, Massachusetts Appleseed was proud to honor and virtually celebrate Karen Morton, Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Liberty Mutual Insurance and recipient of the 2021 Good Apple Award! From her work advancing racial equity to uplifting Massachusetts’ most vulnerable youth, her extraordinary dedication to public service and social justice reminds us of the important role the legal community has in creating profound and positive change. After last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19, we were also excited to recognize Enrique Colbert, General Counsel of Wayfair and recipient of the 2020 Good Apple Award. Like Karen, Enrique is truly a Good Apple and serves as an inspiration to us all.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s virtual Good Apple Award Reception so special!
The funds raised through the Good Apple Award Reception provide core funding for Massachusetts Appleseed’s work throughout the year, ensuring we can respond to urgent community needs and seize opportunities for action. Thanks to the generosity of this year’s sponsors and donors, we can continue to investigate inequitable access to the courts and educational opportunity, deliver know-your-rights resources and trainings, organize to defend the legal rights of our most vulnerable communities, and more.
Thank you for celebrating the good with us!
